Vizsla
Depicted in art as far back as the 10th century, the breed was popular among the Magyar hordes, a tribe that was settled in modern day Hungary. The agricultural terrain of Hungary made the Vizsla agile with a superior nose and hunting ability. The medium sized pointer weighs between 40 and 60 pounds and stands at 20 to 26 inches tall. The Vizsla thrives as part of an active family lifestyle.
