Treeing Walker Coonhound
The breed is a descendant of the English Foxhound that was imported to Virginia in 1742. The Treeing Walker Coonhound's underlying sense of game along with their great speed essentially makes the breed unstoppable. The medium sized breed weighs 50 to 70 pounds and stands 20 to 27 inches tall. The Treeing Walker Coonhound is very anxious and active so they are best suited for a farm or rural life instead of apartment or city living, also the breed is most suitable for hot, sunny climates.
