Teddy Roosevelt Terrier
This American breed was developed from terriers brought over by English miners and other working class immigrants to be used as ratters, and since the famous American president Teddy Roosevelt owned one, the Teddy Roosevelt Terrier was named in his honor. The small yet energetic breed stands 8 to 14 inches and the weight varies with the individual dog. The Teddy Roosevelt Terrier is a great hunter, but also thrives as a companion to a family, children, and other pets.
