Swiss Shorthaired Pinscher

The breed dates back to at least 1780 in Germany, while today the Swiss Shorthaired Pinscher are extinct, the German Pinscher is a variety of the breed that is available today. The moderately sized Pinscher type breed weighed 25 to 35 pounds and stood 17 to 20 inches tall. Not much is known about the breed except for their descendant, the German Pinscher.
