Silky Terrier
The breed was developed in the 1800s in Australia, where Yorkshire Terriers and Australian Terriers were cross bred to premier the predominately blue coat of the Silky Terrier. The toy sized breed weighs an average of 10 pounds and stands at 9 to 10 inches tall. The keen, energetic Silky Terriers likes attention and spending time with the family.
