Shiloh Shepherd Dog

An American German Shepherd lover in the 1960s began to established a larger, old style Shepherd and in 1990s the Shiloh Shepherd Dog was finally established as its own breed. The breed is very similar to the German Shepherd but is bigger with better hips, they stand 28 to 30 inches tall and weigh 80 to 130 pounds. Although the breed is relatively unknown, they still make great companions; they are suited to live in most living styles but still need a fairly large amount of exercise.
