Shih Tzu
The Shih Tzu has been prized by the Chinese royals for over 1000 years and it was often chosen as the house pet for most of the Ming dynasty. The breed is one of the most popular dogs in the United States according to the AKC Registration Statistics. This compact, yet solid breed stands at 8 to 11 inches and weighs between 9 and 16 pounds. Minimal exercise for the Shih Tzu breed is okay, but daily brushing of their long, luxurious coat is a must.

No more than absolutely nesaecsry once a month at most. Bathing, no matter what kind of shampoo you use, strips the oils out of the dog's coat and dries the skin as well. When you do bath your puppy, use only dog shampoo and be sure to rinse very, very thoroughly because any shampoo residue gets itchy, causing a dog to scratch.References :
