Sanshu Dog

The breed originated in Japan from the cross breeding of Shika Inus with the smooth-coated Phu Quoc Dog. The Sanshu Dog was used as a guard and companion dog, while today they simply make a dedicated family pet. The small breed weighs 44 to 55 pounds and stands 16 to 18 inches tall. The Sanshu Dog is fearless, loyal, and eager to please their family.
