Sabueso Espanol Lebrero

The breed originated in Spain in the 16th century as a descendant from the Celts hunting dogs from France. The Sabueso Espanol Lebrero is a tracking dog used for hunting small game but is also used as a rescue dog and for drug detection because of their highly developed nose. Though loyal and affectionate the Sabueso Espanol Lebrero is a true hunting breed and being a hunting breed the dog needs a large amount of exercise and space.
