Rottweiler
The first ancestors of the Rottweiler were brought from Rome while they were invading Europe. They were recognized specifically for their herding and guarding instincts by the Germans, while later the need of the breed withered, the Rottweiler came back strong in the 1900s. The medium sized dog weighs between 85 and 130 pounds and stands at 22 to 27 inches tall. Obedience training and socialization make the breed very devoted to its family.

While listed as protective, aggressive, and unsociable, I have found Rottweilers to be sweet and trustworthy. One of the miss-understood breeds.
the rottweiler is the best dog, my Arantxa is not an aggressive dog.
I have had both a male and female..couldn't ask for a better dog. They are well behaved, great family dogs and respond to love. They should never be tied up. Rottweilers are very lovable. Ours was 130 lbs and slept in bed with us. LOL.. Sometimes my husband had to fight his way in.... The dog (they are very verbal ) would complain if he was moved. They need early socialization and positive correction .... Do this and you will never have a problem.
Just got two rottweiler puppies (male and female and need some advise on how well to treat them, i mean best meals, residence,training and general care.
When I first saw a rottie it was chained to the back of a p.u. truck and scared the hell out of me. Years later, my husband introduced me to rotties and i fell in love with our Anna. Proper training, needed socialization (we did our homework) and we had the best-loved dog that we could take anywhere and helped to dissolve so much misinformation of this majestic family loved pet.
I have a 7 month old femal Rottweiler name Sophie but I have to get sale her cause I don't have time for her and I have to move in with my mother to help her. If anyone is internet please don't hestiate to contact me.
I have a two and a half year old Rottweiler/ springer spaniel pup named Marley and a 13 week old pure german rotti named bella. Couldn't ask for better dogs. My rotti spaniel trail rides along side the horses and LOVES his job. Extremely smart and willing companion. You can do anything you can dream of with this versatile breed. Early/ proper socialization and obedience training takes you far with these amazing dogs. Its too bad they have a bad wrap.
These dogs are very cute and cuddley.I am going to get one for my girl!D
as any dog obedience training and maintain it. and remember dogs are not people but talking to them and playing with them will build character in them. spend lots of time with them
