Rajapalayam
Not much is known of the origin of the Rajapalayam, but it is thought that in Southern India they were used in the breeding of the modern Dalmatian and were used during the Carnic Wars to attack the British. Sadly, the breed is more or less extinct, very few are found in isolated areas around Tamil Nadu. The large Rajapalayam usually stands 25 to 30 inches tall and the weight is in accordance to the height. The most prized look of the breed is a milk white coat with a pink nose and golden eyes, though more colors are included.
