Pooghan

The Pooghan is not a purebred breed, but a hybrid that is the result of crossing an Afghan Hound with a Poodle. Because the popularity of multi-generation breeding has increased, the breed is not always guaranteed to be of 50/50 bloodlines. The average Pooghan stands 22 to 28 inches tall and weighs 45 to 65 pounds. Since the breed is hybrid their characteristics vary, therefore to best determine the possible traits, it is best to research the parent breeds.
