Parson Russell Terrier

Average: 4.5 (2 votes)

The breed was developed during the mid 1800s in England to hunt red fox. The true working fox hunter weighs 13 to 17 pounds and stands 13 to 14 inches tall. The Parson Russell Terrier is primarily white with black or brown markings, and although a hunter, today the breed can be found working in stables as well. The breed is tenacious while hunting, but affectionate in the home. Beware the Parson Russell Terrier is filled with energy so regular exercise and attention is a must.
