Otterhound
When overpopulated otters in England began preying on the prized fish, the Otterhound was bred to take care of the problem. Though otter hunting is now illegal, the breed is still going strong. The Otterhound is unique among hounds because of its rough, double coat and webbed feet. This bigger breed weighs between 80 and 150 pounds and stands at 23 to 27 inches tall. Though good for most families, the large size of the Otterhound is not suitable for toddlers or the elderly.
