Norwegian Elkhound

This ancient Scandinavian breed comes through six millennium with none of its traits tainted. The sturdy Norwegian Elkhound stands at 19 to 21 inches tall and weighs between 48 and 55 pounds. This breed does well with people when trained from an early age, but is very protective.
