Norwegian Buhund

Ancient versions of this breed have been documented back to the year 900, when the Norwegian Buhund traveled many journeys with the Vikings. First bred in the wet lands of the western coast lands of Norway. This Spitz type of dog weighs 26 to 40 pounds and stands at 16 to 19 inches tall. The Norwegian Buhund will thrive with any active family that can provide adequate exercise for the dog.
