Mal Shi

The hybrid or mixed breed is the result of crossing a Maltese with a Shih-Tzu. Since the Mal Shi is hybrid, the name may sometimes be misleading because it is not guaranteed that the breed will be 50% of each parent breed due to the popularity of multi-generation breeding. The Mal Shi is a toy breed that averagely weighs 9 to 22 pounds, but to best determine the breed's characteristics it is most helpful to research the parent breeds.
