Labrador Husky
The breed is native to Coastal Labrador (Canada) that was most likely brought by the Thule Inuit around 1300 AD that allowed the Labrador breed to cross breed with the wolf to produce a strong sled dog. Similar to the wolf, the Spitz-type Labrador Husky weighs 60 to 100 pounds and stands 20 to 28 inches tall. Although the breed may be aggressive with strangers or intruders, when well socialized the Labrador Husky does well with people. Also, like most sled dog breeds a large amount of exercise is needed.
