Kerry Beagle
The breed originated in Ireland during the 1500s as a large game hunter, while its appearance most likely suggests the Kerry Beagle descended from the bloodhound. The Kerry Beagle is substantially larger than the standard Beagle standing at 22 to 26 inches and weighing 45 to 60 pounds. The very popular breed is one of the most successful hunting dogs.

I'm so sorry you hurt yourself, Ella, beuasce I know pain is no fun, but I enjoyed your post and also the comments, especially Mary Ann's...I can just picture the bunny trying to interest the deer in playing. We have rabbits and deer around here, too, and I don't think Lindy would want to hurt them, but she'd certainly enjoy a short game of chase.Your hound is so cute!K
