Irish Terrier
The direct origin of the Irish Terrier is disputable, but they are known as one of the oldest breeds of terrier. The Irish Terrier is most famous during WWI for being a great messenger and sentinel. The beautiful red coat makes this dog highly desirable. The Irish Terrier stands at an average of 18 inches tall and weighs between 25 and 27 pounds. The Irish Terrier is great with children when raised among them.
