Franzuskaya Bolonka
The breed was established through the connection of French and Russian aristocracies that cross-bred dogs similar to today's Bichon Frise and Bologonnese to create a white dog favorable to fashionable ladies of the 18th and 19th centuries. The small, all white Franzuskaya Bolonka stands at 9 to 10 inches and weighs 4 to 15 pounds. The breed is a well-balanced, friendly family companion.
