Estonian Hound

The breed is the only dog that hails from Estonia where many different types of hounds were cross-bred to form a hunting breed over 17 inches so that hunting would be legal for Estonian hunters again. The happy, muscular Estonian Hound stands at 17 to 21 inches tall and weighs 33 to 44 pounds. The breed needs a large amount of exercise and readily enjoys running through the forest, only when it's a safe environment though.
