Entlebucher Mountain Dog
Known as the smallest of the Swiss mountain dogs, the breed is said to have originated in the region of the Swiss canton of Lucerne, where the Entlebucher Mountain Dog descended from fighting and guarding Roman mastiffs. The Entlebucher Mountain Dog is not suited for apartment life standing at 19 to 20 inches and weighing 44 to 66 pounds. The active breed needs a fairly big amount of exercise and is happiest when surrounded by his or her's family.
