English Springer Spaniel

Originally, Springer and Cocker Spaniels were born in the same litter, but the English Springer breed became more recognized in America in 1924. When the English Springer Spaniel Trial Association was formed and field trials were started for the first time. This medium-sized, powerful breed weighs between 40 and 50 pounds and stands at 19 to 20 inches tall at the shoulder. English Springer Spaniels generally love their family greatly and stick close to their owners.
