Elo
The breed just recently began emerging from Germany in 1987 when various breeds, including the Chow-Chow, Old English Sheepdog, and Eurasier were cross bred in an attempt to produce the perfect family dog. Bred for behavior instead of appearance the Elo standard is not too particular; generally the breed weighs an average of 50 to 75 pounds and stands 15 to 23 inches tall. The rare breed does very well with families, as they were bred for that particular purpose.
