Dutch Shepherd Dog
The breed originated in the Netherlands during the 1800s where they were valued for their herding ability and quick reflexes. The Dutch Shepherd Dog is among the most competent of all herding dogs because of its remarkable abilities. The large breed stands at 22 to 25 inches and weighs 65 to 67 pounds. The Dutch Shepherd Dog is very loving but guarding, unwanted visitors will be stopped in their tracks while family friends will continuously be greeted enthusiastically.
