Dandie Dinmont Terrier
This breed was first recognized around 1700 and has been popular with both gypsies and the wealthy throughout time. This breed was made famous when Sir Walter Scott wrote about them in Guy Mannering in 1814. The small dog possesses a lot of confidence standing at 8 to 10 inches tall and weighing between 18 to 24 pounds. As a companion, Dandie Dinmont Terriers are very affectionate towards their families.
