Bolognese
The bichon-type dog originated in Italy in the 11th or 12th century where they became popular among Spanish royals and courts as companions. The small, white breed stands at 10 to 12 inches and weighs 9 to 11 pounds. The intelligent and loving Bolognese makes a great companion for children and families.
