Bloodhound
Bloodhounds first appeared in Europe well before the Crusades. They have become extremely well established in America as police dogs. Their scent trails are so accurate as evidence that they are accepted in courts of law. The saggy skin of the breed gives the breed another special characterization. This black and tan breed stand at 23 to 27 inches and weighs between 80 and 110 pounds. Bloodhounds are extremely affectionate, making them suitable for most families.
