Bichon Frise
This breed of dog first appeared in the 13th century as a descendant of the Water Spaniel. After being traded into many continents, the Bichon Frise became a favorite of the French royals. The small white dog is most suitable as a companion. They stand at 9 to 12 inches and weight between 7 and 12 pounds each. The naturally gentle temperament of Bichon Frise make them great for any family and especially for allergy suffers.
