Bakharwal Dog

No votes yet

This dog is an ancient breed descending from many mastiff types that came from Central Asia where it has been bred for many centuries as a livestock and home guardian. The Bakharwal breed is very rare and in danger of going extinct currently. The common height of the breed is 24 to 30 inches but there is no ideal weight. The breed make for great guardians and also house dogs, but a place to run is a must for all Bakharwal dogs.
