Affenpinscher

The Affenpinscher breed has been around since the 1600s. First raised in Germany as a much larger breed, they were later bred to be smaller house dogs, used for catching rodents. This breed is happy and friendly, great for any type of family. The appearance of an Affenpinshcer is very neat, but the hair is shaggy and wiry which is alleged to not shed. With a small frame of around 7-9 pounds and standing at 11 inches tall, this dog is ideal for traveling and can be a great addition to any home.
